A young Southern Right Whale was seen recently in the Cocora Beach and Snug Cove (wharf area) of Twofold Bay - here are some photos we took at the time.


This photo was taken from the wharf - you can clearly see the 'calosities' on it's skin

Here you can clearly see the 'footprints' in the surface of the water caused
by sweeps of the whales flukes. Because of the shallow water of the wharf area
they are easily visible with each sweep.
