Whiter Brothers have been serving the Far South Coast of New South Wales in floor finishing, commercial and domestic building for 65 years. A family business, Whiter Brothers was established in 1936 by brothers Allan & Arthur Whiter. The business is now operated by Allan's three sons, Robert, Ian and Peter.

Whiter Brothers has always maintained a committment to quality and service. Their quality of workmanship is second-to-none and they are able to offer a wide range of finishes from the subtle sheen of traditional Tung Oil to modern, hard wearing single pack polyurethane in the full range of gloss levels from durable low sheen for the family rumpus room to a hard wearing high gloss for ballrooms or dance floors.

Inlaid compass rose feature

Inlaid Compass Rose made from Western Australian Jarrah, Australian Cedar
and Victorian Ash set into local South Coast Woolybutt 4" strip floor.

Australia offers some of the finest timbers in the world. From the rich reds of Jarrah or the texture and character of Woolybutt to the elegant simplicity of Blue Gum or the striking contrast of Cypres pine or the even tones of Ash.
In addition to bringing your antique floor back to life, Whiter Brothers can offer both local and imported timbers in a wide range of formats. A smooth expanse of strip flooring down the hall or patterned parquetry in the living room. Have you considered an inlaid feature or border? The possibilities are endless.
